| Fall Creek Falls State Park is home to one of Tennessee's finest public golf courses. In 1984, 1988, and 1990, the course named one of the top public courses to play in the nation by Golf Digest magazine. John Lee designed this course in 1972 to blend in beautifully with the natural splendor of Fall Creek Falls. The rolling hills, forests, wildlife and challenging layout make this course enjoyable by all. The course length ranges from the 4417 yard red tees to the blue tees at 6669 yards. 71 is par for the course. Water is not a factor at Fall Creek Falls Golf Course. It only comes into play on one hole (hole 2) and is only a problem if you hit a very poor tee shot. Bunkers are another matter. 71 bunkers dot this 18 hole course, most strategically located to protect the pin. Work on your sand game before playing this course. The longest hole plays at 544 yards on the white tees. There are four par 5's on the course. See the scorecard below to see the yardage, par, and handicap for each hole. The course offers an on-site pro, Billy Maxwell, who is a PGA tour member and is available for lessons. Please plan in advance. A snack bar, pro shop, cart rental (pull carts and riding), club rental, driving range, and practice green are available. Tee times are required! The park offers lodging available at the inn, cabins and at the campgrounds. Special rates and promotions are available. |
